CTA Film Studies Productions

CTA’s award winning Film Studies class, under the direction of Mr. Steve Guinan, produces videos each year for a variety of uses.  The goals of the class are film appreciation and production.  Here are the most recent which are trailers promoting the education at our school:

In 2016, CTA’s 8th grade Judaic Studies and the high school’s Digital Media classes created the short film:  In Touch with Israel which won 4th place out of 93 entrants in the Israel Video Network’s “Inspired by Israel” contest!

In 2012, CTA won first place in the Avi Chai Jewish Day School Video Academy Awards for their short film:  Learning for Life.  CTA is the 1st place winner of the Judge’s Choice award.

In 2012, CTA won first place in the Avi Chai Jewish Day School Video Academy Awards for their short film: If a Picture is Worth a Thousand Words.  CTA is the 1st place winner of the People’s Choice award.

In 2012, CTA won third place in the Avi Chai Jewish Day School Video Academy:  Alumni Edition for their short film:  How Do You Give Back? featuring alumni: Rebecca Barnett, Jeremiah Pollack, and Joel Greff
