Art: Students in K-6 attend art class once per week. The curriculum is based on Ohio’s Learning Standards for Visual Arts. Students observe, create, analyze and make connections between their own artwork and the world around them. They often display art around the school or take it home to explain their artistic process and learning to their families. Art is a much-loved course of study at CTA.

Music: Students in K-4 attend music class once per week. The purpose of the curriculum is to lay a foundation for a lifelong learning and understanding of music, as well as to engage in culturally rich traditions that involve singing and music from both ancient and modern Jewish societies. 

Physical Education: Students in K-6 attend physical education class once per week. The goal of the curriculum is to develop the knowledge and confidence for a lifetime of healthy physical activity. As a testament to the positive culture generated by the Physical Education teacher, many students come to school early to participate in the daily walking club and enjoy tracking their progress.

Drama: Students in our upper elementary grades enjoy drama classes that prepare them for the stage when they get to Upper School and engage in our hallmark Shakespeare unit, where they adapt scenes from Shakespearean plays to reflect their modern life lived today.  Angela Barch,  a thespian with decades of theater experience as a cast member in numerous Shakespearean productions, leads our drama course work.
